this is where (some of) the magic happens
Day 212 of 365.
I had to include this photo because it encapsulates a really great experience I had. Trust me to take weeks to blog about it.
Anyway,
Small Beer Press out of Massachusetts is my favorite small press; they put out excellent books and the fine literary 'zine Lady Churchill's Rosebud Wristlet. So, these people are rock stars in my book. I made a point to visit the Small Beer Press office in Easthampton, MA this summer.
I was pleased to meet
Jedediah Berry , editor at Small Beer Press and author of the excellent book
The Manual of Detection . Not only was he kind enough to give my crew & I the tour, but he also joined us for lunch and lively conversation.
So, that was a really good day for me.
And, my photography will be in the 2011 edition of their
Working Writer's Daily Planner . Thrilling!
