  PiL

PiL, originally uploaded by Bloodlossgirl.

Day 120 of 365.

I took a break from the computer for a few days, so here begins a posting of the backlog of YIP photos. Friday, we went to Pittsburgh to see the legendary PiL, Public Image Limited, the band of John Lydon (ol' Johnny Rotten) after the Sex Pistols broke up.

I never thought to have a chance to see them, so I was bound to have a good time, but I was unprepared for how great of a performer John Lydon is. They played many of my favorites, like "This is Not a Love Song", "Death Disco", and "Warrior".

I'd forgotten how sometimes the energy of live shows carry you along and make you part of something. I've missed this.

And I am reminded to never surrender.
