  genius, power, and magic
genius, power, and magic

Day 5 of 365. I liked this one because of the partial quote and the reflection of the Clay Center lobby. I had to go to the Clay Center today to get symphony tickets - I have to buy them like everyone else, now that I don't work there. My mother-in-law is coming to visit this weekend (hooray!), so we're going to see the WV Symphony Orchestra on Saturday night. I haven't been since I quit working there ... over two years ago now.

In other news, the nurse practitioner I saw today says there aren't aliens or bugs in the lumps on my forehead. Boring boring boring.

Full quote: "Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it!" - which apparently is not actually a quote by Goethe . I still like it.

So what are the bumps on your head?? I really like this pic too - this is going to be fun watching your progress. I promise not to comment on everything.

Making sense in a world that refuses to, and never has, made sense - not even once, EVER

My Photo
Name:

Things that have happened to me:

- I was born in Canada
- I lived in a converted schoolbus during my first year of life, was bathed in a turkey roasting  pan (yes, with a baster)
- Daryl Hannah came over and talked to me at a party when I was 8 years old
- I had a bizarre sledding accident
- I've seen pigs running down the road
- I nearly went to medical school
- I lived in West Virginia for six years
- I used to dj, sometimes for fetish nights  (First rule of Fetish Night: don't shake hands with anyone you meet there)
- I found someone's heart & lungs in a gallon drum of formaldehyde in the basement of a law firm's storage unit
-I've written stories
- I've seen puffins on the island of Staffa
